Shannon and Priscilla purchased Ruger in the spring of 06. Ruger has really grown, in these pictures he was almost 7 months and weighing around 78-lbs. He has learned everything so fast, he sits, shakes hands with both the right and left paw, catches treats off of his nose, fetches anything and everything, even fetches out of water. He is very attentive and soft mouthed. I take him jogging with me and he stays right beside me the entire way. He gets along great with adults and absolutely loves kids and other dogs.

I just wanted to give you an update on Champ (formerly Bear). He seems to be doing really well. He's gotten so big. The last time we were at the vet, he weighed in at 70 pounds already! He's smart, was easy to housetrain after the first few days, and we have taught him to ring bells by the door whenever he needs to go out. We easily crate trained him, and we are working really hard on our leash manners. I have attached a couple of pictures that we've taken along the way. He is a really good dog, and we love him so much! It has been a blessing for me to have him since Bryan deployed last month. He's been a good distraction and a great companion to come home to!
