Salt is a wonderful guardian. Her favorite spot is right next to the boys.

She will guard the boys even over her puppies. She knows when the puppies are old enough to wean and welcomes this time.

It is not a stessful time on the puppies either because we introduce them to other environments without their mother.

They learn things like not to bite on toes or to bother the older dogs. These are some of the social skills they pick up at an early age here on the SIESS RANCH
